In the slums of Kingston, Jamaica, a young twelve year old boy names Casper’s father is about to be killed by some local gangsters. His father is in trouble with the gangsters after being used as a drug mule. Casper then seeks help for a British priest named Jeremiah Miller (Paul Giamatti) and a local Rastafarian who lives in the hills (Anthony Mackie), and the three of them end up going on the run. The three of them then end up running all over Jamaica to try and escape the gangsters and three of them end up bonding over their journey that will forever change them.
