A compilation of the first three movies in the Die Hard movie franchise, Die Hard Trilogy is an homage to one of the greatest action franchises in history. John McClane (Bruce Willis) is an NYPD Detective, with a penchant for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, or perhaps in the right place at the right time, depending on how you look at it. The series stars other great actors in great roles, the evil terrorist of the first installment, Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman), John McClane's long suffering wife Holly (Bonnie Bedelia), his wife's nemesis reporter Dick Thornburg (William Atherton), and some of his helpers in the films, Al Powell (Reginald VelJohnson), Captain Carmine Lorenzo (Dennis Franz), and Zeus Carver (Samuel L. Jackson). Gruber is a terrorist, or pretending to be one to steal $640 million in bonds, only McClane stands in the way in Die Hard. Colonel Stuart (William Sadler) is the leader of a group of terrorists intent on freeing political prisoners by holding an airport hostage, McClane is there once again in Die Harder. Simon Gruber (Jeremy Irons) is Hans Gruber's brother, and he is itching for revenge on McClane, or is it something else in Die Hard With a Vengeance?
