Richard and Priscilla Parker (Kevin Kline and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) are an ordinary suburban couple whose lives are invaded and rocked by their hedonistic, secretive new neighbors, Eddy and Kay Otis (Kevin Spacey and Rebecca Miller). Spacey, in one of his first feature roles, is charismatic as the evil neighbor, with an appeal worthy of an Alfred Hitchcock villain. |
