Over twenty years ago, Genomex Corporation began experiments with genetics in children in the hopes of curing illness and ending hereditary disorders. however, when the children began to grow up as mutants, Dr. Adam Kane developed Sanctuary, an underground lair where they could live and fight back against Genomex.
